Job Title: Office Administrative Assistant
Salary: $19.23 – $21.63 per hour
The City of Lake Elmo is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Office Administrative Assistant. Duties include front office customer service, building department support, assisting with City Council and Commission meeting preparation, providing back-up support to the Finance Department, assisting with elections, and other tasks as assigned. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; five years of increasingly responsible experience in an office setting and/or local government; advanced computer software experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office; and ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Anticipated hiring range: $19.23-20.19/hr.

The City of Lake Elmo is Currently Accepting Applications for Commissioners on the following Commissions/Boards:
The City of Lake Elmo is currently accepting applications to serve on the Planning Commission, the Library Board and the Parks Commission. Commissioners serve a three year term. The Planning Commission advises the City Council regarding matters relevant to city planning and zoning practices, initiatives, applications, city code and the comprehensive plan. The Library Board is a separate governing board that makes decisions on all matters relevant to the city’s library and its activities. The Parks Commission advises the City Council on matters relevant to the city’s parks and trail systems.
The city is currently seeking volunteers who have an interest in providing service and representing the community on the above commissions/boards.
