The City of Lake Elmo is home to 18 Parks. The two largest parks are Washington County’s Regional Lake Elmo Park Reserve and the City’s 284 acre Sunfish Lake Park. Additionally, there are 16 other city Parks. Lake Elmo’s park system serves organized sports, casual play, hiking, cross-county skiing, horseback riding, picnicking, relaxation, nature appreciation, and a variety of other outdoor activities. While all parks share the common purpose of providing quality recreation facilities and open spaces, each park is unique in terms of its history, setting, character and use. For more information on City parks, please see the subcatagory Neighborhood Parks. Additional information on the Park Reserve and Sunfish Lake Park is available at the respective subcatagories.
