The City of Lake Elmo is home to 18 Parks. The two largest parks are Washington County’s Regional Lake Elmo Park Reserve and the City’s 284 acre Sunfish Lake Park. Additionally, there are 16 other city Parks. Lake Elmo’s park system serves organized sports, casual play, hiking, cross-county skiing, horseback riding, picnicking, relaxation, nature appreciation, and a variety of other outdoor activities. While all parks share the common purpose of providing quality recreation facilities and open spaces, each park is unique in terms of its history, setting, character and use.
Park hours: All public parks are open from sunrise to one half-hour after sunset. Park facilities with operational lighting for ice rinks, tennis courts and ball fields may remain open until 10:00 p.m. as posted in each park.
