NOTARY SERVICE
The city of Lake Elmo provides free notary services.
Please call City Hall ahead of time to make sure a notary is available.
Items to bring with you:
A current VALID driver's license or passport. (If you recently moved, the DMV allows for a 3 month timeframe in which to obtain a new license.)
Your unsigned document. (Do NOT sign your document before arrival, or have witnesses sign ahead of time.)
If more than one person is signing, all parties must be present in front of the notary to sign.
*The city no longer provides a notary service for WILL's. (These are commonly done at attorney offices specializing in drafting wills and notarized there.)
