National, State and County primaries are held in August of even-numbered years. City Council and Mayoral elections are held in November of even-numbered years.
The 2022 local races included 2 City Council seats. City Council elections are nonpartisan and candidates run for their seats at large. Terms for these Council positions are four years beginning in January of 2023 and ending January 2, 2027.
