December

Concrete arrived the very end of November for the apparatus bays. Due to the size, concrete was poured in stages over the month of December. The slab is 8 inches thick to support the weight of the fire trucks. Fire trucks can weigh up to 64,000 pounds. The front of the new addition that house the main entrance, City Council Chambers, and community room took shape and concrete flooring was poured. Installation of metal framing and windows started. Garage door for the apparatus bays arrived. Interior drywall has begun in the office area of the old building.

Public Works addition is taking shape with framing almost completed.
