The Administration Department is responsible for City Council support, human resource activities, elections, communications, liquor licensing, and other City Departments. The City Administrator assures that all aspects of City Government functions including personnel, finance, economic development, infrastructure and public safety are being performed efficiently and effectively.

The City of Lake Elmo outlines specific regulations on everything from animals to swimming pools in its Code of Ordinances.
